Q?

I have never invested outside of Wall Street or my bank. How do I get started in alternative investments?

A.

In many ways, alternative investments are preferable to the investments you are used to; you can choose to invest in a pool with others, or choose a specific investment and be the sole investor. Afterwards, you can make the investment directly, or with the help of a deal sponsor who will manage the investment and all that goes with it.

Loan servicing is a service that receives payments from borrowers and distributes the money to the investors. Additionally, they come with detailed year-end reporting (for tax purposes).
